It's about freedom of speech and the 1st Amendment for a law-related class. Of course I threw in some Polandball.

How is "hateful speech" excluded from the protection of the First Amendment unless it presents a true threat? That's the whole point of the First Amendment and the court has long upheld the right of people to say some pretty hateful stuff, as they rightly should.
